MICHAEL COPON BIO Michael Copon is a Filipino-American actor and singer. He began his career appearing in commercials and print ads for popular clothing brands such as Old Navy, PacSun, Sketchers, Nike, Reebok, Gap, and American Eagle. Michael’s first big step in his on-screen acting career took place shortly after when he landed a role on the Fox Kids Network playing Lucas, the Blue Power Ranger, on the television series Power Rangers Time Force. Although his role as Lucas, the Blue Power Ranger has remained one of his most world-wide known roles, Michael is most recognized for his starring role as “Felix” on the hit TV show One Tree Hill. Due to all of hype from One Tree Hill and his undeniable charm and good looks, Michael received the honor of being named one of People Magazine’s “50 Hottest Bachelors” alongside Usher, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Seacrest, Jamie Foxx and many other of today’s stars. Michael has also made numerous guest appearances on popular programs such as CSI Miami, Scrubs, Reno 911, That’s So Raven, Even Stevens, and also co-starred in the original series Beyond the Break. His film appearances include All You’ve Got, Dishdogz, and the lead role as “Penn” in Bring It On: In It to Win It. In 2008, Michael secured the lead role in the film The Scorpion King II: Rise of a Warrior, as well as lead roles in recently released theatrical films, Night of the Demons and Boyband, which he also co-produced. Recently, Michael landed a role on CBS’s re-made series, Hawaii 5-0. Although Michael is known for his Acting, he is also a talented vocalist. He won the VH1 television series, But Can They Sing. But Can They Sing was a Celebrity singing contest in which the winner got 50,000 donated to the charity of their choice. In Michael’s case, he had his prize money donated to The Shaken Baby Alliance, a cause very close to his heart. Alongside continuing his acting career, Michael has spent the last 4 years learning how to produce and engineer music. Michael is still focusing on his acting career, with upcoming projects in the making, while at the same time writing and producing hit records on the side for other recording artists.
